The class yesterday 15/12/2024 was wonderful as I watched different colour paint selections be applied to the illustrations .. I am relaxed as they go about an easy time and do a fair bit of observing but don't interfere as in instructing but all are doing fine...so they can go home and paint this style at least !
Also I get to see new ways with colours and shading trees !
Jenni the woman behind Hey Sunday was also painting with us and she framed the classes 2 paintings as they dried and the works came to life in a new way the people never expected !!!
I have return people from the Xmas class and they love painting it and also one lady has begun to paint again after many years.....so much happens as individuals in the 3 hours .
Jenni quietly pops her paint brush down to go and bring out a light lunch..which is a delicious choice of grazing things....
Before Hey Sunday Jenni built and ran a successful Waffle Shop ... and before that The Christmas Shop as Factory and Field in the old Butter Factory space.

ACCOMMODATION IN AND AROUND COHUNA
*****
There are Air b N B in Cohuna , a motel and a caravan park with cabins which I am told are good and the caravan park sits right beside the Gunbower Creek close to town. Pretty location
Echuca is a bigger port and has many more accommodations and I have stayed in the motel and units in Koondrook and units in Barham which are border towns 24 km away. Also Kerang is 30 km
One crosses the Murray river to reach Barham from Cohuna ....
Echuca is about a 45 min drive ...
